Company Story
High Plains Custom Metal was founded on September 11, 2024, by Dennis Humphrey, who saw a clear need in this region: a local manufacturer producing quality metal roofing and siding panels and accessories for contractors and homeowners, instead of materials shipped in from suppliers who have never seen a Wyoming wind event. Dennis brings decades of Wyoming roofing experience to that mission, he's also President of Capitol Roofing, Cheyenne's roofing contractor since 1985.
That regional focus isn't just a slogan. Our panels have been tested by real Wyoming weather: last winter alone, our products saw wind gusts over 100 mph on multiple occasions, with zero reported blow-offs. That's the standard we build to.
Every panel we produce is custom-fabricated to exact specifications, whether we're measuring and roll-forming on-site or producing it in our Cheyenne warehouse. That local production is what lets us offer fast lead times and dependable supply to contractors, builders, and homeowners throughout Wyoming, Northern Colorado, Western Nebraska, and Southwestern South Dakota.
